<![CDATA[This study aims to identify the factors influencing stock investment decisions among Gen Z investors. The research focuses on Gen Z individuals who possess a Single Investor Identification (SID). The sample consists of 100 investors residing in West Sumatra, born between 1997 and 2012, who have at least one year of experience in stock investment. Data and information were gathered through surveys. The factors influencing investment decisions among Gen Z investors examined in this study are financial literacy, overconfidence, and risk perception. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was employed for data analysis, with hypothesis testing conducted using t-statistics. The hypothesis testing results indicate that financial literacy and overconfidence have a positive effect on stock investment decisions among Gen Z investors in West Sumatra; these findings suggest that as Gen Z investors improve their financial literacy, a sense of overconfidence emerges when making investment decisions—specifically regarding the purchase of shares offered on the secondary market. However, risk perception was found to have no significant effect on investment decisions among Gen Z investors in West Sumatra.]]>
