The advancement of digital technology has brought about significant changes in people's financial activities, including among high school students who are increasingly engaging with digital transactions, online shopping, digital wallets, and various other financial technology (fintech) services. This convenience must be balanced with financial literacy so that students can make wise financial decisions and avoid the risks associated with consumptive behavior, digital fraud, online gambling, and illegal online loans. This community service initiative aims to enhance the digital financial literacy of high school students, equipping them to navigate increasingly independent financial lives including the safe and responsible use of banking services and the execution of financial transactions. The program is implemented through educational sessions and interactive presentations covering concepts such as digital finance, expense management, the impact of inflation, basic investment principles, digital financial record-keeping, and the use of fintech, alongside raising awareness about the dangers of online fraud, online gambling, and illegal online loans. This activity serves as a crucial initial step in preparing the younger generation to be smarter, more independent, and responsible in their future use of digital financial services.
