This study aims to analyze the influence of single candidacy on voter participation in the 2024 regional elections in Ngawi Regency. The study employed quantitative methods with a correlational approach. Data were collected through questionnaires from 100 respondents using a simple random sampling technique, then analyzed using validity and reliability tests, simple linear regression, and t-tests. The results indicate that single candidacy has a positive and significant effect on voter participation, with a t-value of 3.918 and a significance level of 0.000 (<0.05). The R² value of 0.149 indicates a 14.9% effect, with the remainder influenced by other factors. These results serve as evaluation material for political parties and election organizers to increase political competition and encourage public participation. This study provides an empirical contribution through a quantitative approach to examining the phenomenon of single candidacy in the local context of Ngawi Regency. These findings suggest that voter participation remains relatively stable despite limited political competition, reflecting adaptive political behavior in a constrained democratic context. This study also highlights the importance of political awareness and institutional trust in maintaining democratic participation at the local level.
