Anemia among adolescent girls remains a major public health problem in Indonesia due to inadequate nutritional intake, limited knowledge of reproductive health, and suboptimal preventive behaviors. Educational interventions integrating nutrition and reproductive health are expected to improve adolescents' knowledge and encourage positive behaviors for anemia prevention. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of nutrition and reproductive health education in improving knowledge and anemia prevention behaviors among adolescent girls in Kartini Village, Rantau Utara District. A pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design was conducted among 60 adolescent girls selected using purposive sampling. The educational intervention was delivered through interactive lectures, group discussions, leaflets, and audiovisual media. Data were collected using validated and reliable questionnaires assessing knowledge and anemia prevention behavior. Data were analyzed using the Paired Sample t-test with a significance level of 95% (α = 0.05). The mean knowledge score increased significantly from 58.43 ± 10.21 before the intervention to 82.15 ± 8.47 after the intervention (p<0.001). The mean anemia prevention behavior score also increased from 60.18 ± 9.75 to 79.62 ± 8.94 (p<0.001). These findings indicate that nutrition and reproductive health education effectively improved both knowledge and anemia prevention behaviors among adolescent girls. Nutrition and reproductive health education was effective in improving knowledge and anemia prevention behaviors among adolescent girls. Integrating nutrition and reproductive health education may serve as an effective health promotion and preventive strategy to reduce the risk of anemia among adolescents.
