This study aims to examine the moderating role of family support on the influence of self-efficacy and leadership support on career development among female civil servants (ASN) at the Institute of Home Affairs (IPDN). The research focuses on women's career development within a bureaucratic environment such as IPDN, which tends to be rule-bound and hierarchical. This study employs an associative quantitative research design. The sample was determined using the Hair method, consisting of 150 female civil servants at IPDN. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS version 3 software. The results indicate that self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on career development, and leadership support also has a positive and significant effect on career development. Furthermore, family support strengthens the influence of both self-efficacy and leadership support on career development. However, various other factors potentially influence career development, indicating a limitation of this study in fully capturing the complexity of factors affecting career development, particularly among female civil servants. Additionally, this study focuses exclusively on female civil servants within a single educational institution. Therefore, further studies are needed to compare these findings with other professions or organizational settings.
