Indonesia has diverse cultural traditions that need to be preserved, one of which is the Ba’samsam traditional practice of the Dayak Kanayatn ethnic group in Aping Hamlet. This study aims to analyze the educational value in the ba'samsam traditional tradition of the Dayak Kanayatn community in Aping Hamlet, Pastijaya Village, Bengkayang Regency. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. This method is used to analyze the educational value of the Dayak Kanayatn community in Aping Hamlet. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that (1) the ba'samsam traditional tradition aims to cleanse the palaya palanser (Village), the hearts and minds of talino (Humans), households, agricultural tools, rice fields/fields from bad influences, evil spirits and invisible enemies so that tasks and work in the coming year are successful, healthy and safe. (2) There are four educational values ​​in the Dayak Kanayatn community in Aping Hamlet, namely: religious values, moral values, cultural values ​​and social values. In the process of this ba'samsam traditional tradition, prayers are given to Jubata (God) and ancestors. Educational values ​​are instilled through joint activities such as mutual cooperation, mutual assistance, cooperation between communities in the process of preparing traditional rituals. As well as through community compliance in implementing taboos that teach about responsibility, honesty, politeness, empathy and the importance of maintaining harmony between each other. Interviews were conducted with the traditional leader and panyangahatn Mr. Amin Sabar, community leader/head of Binua Mr. Melki Sedek S.Pd, community leader/head of Hamlet Mr. Cilisius, community leader/head of Hamlet Mr. Nobertus S.E, and community members who have participated in carrying out the traditional tradition of ba'samsam Elisa S.Pd.
