This study aims to analyze the existing drinking water supply conditions and evaluate the technical feasibility of constructing a Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) in Mendatte Village, Anggeraja District, Enrekang Regency. Currently, the local community largely relies on self-managed water sources and shallow wells using inadequate infrastructure. This quantitative study utilizes primary data obtained through field surveys and discharge measurements of the Sallu Buangin Spring, alongside secondary data comprising population statistics and topographic mapping generated via ArcMap 10.8.2. Population growth projections were calculated using the Least Squares method for the period of 2021 to 2030. The analysis indicates that the population will increase from 751 people in 2021 to 971 people in 2030. Based on these projections, the Total Water Demand (Qt)—encompassing domestic and non-domestic needs as well as water losses—is expected to rise from 0.657 L/s in 2021 to 0.849 L/s (73,353.6 liters/day) in 2030, with peak hour demand (Qp) reaching 1.274 L/s. The existing reservoir, measuring 18.20 m × 11.50 m × 3 m, provides an actual capacity of 627.9 m³ (627,900 liters); this is more than sufficient to meet daily needs and allows for a water reserve lasting up to 8.5 days. Given the area's topography—ranging from 200 to 800 meters above sea level—water distribution can efficiently utilize a gravity-fed system. The selection of HDPE PN 10 pipes—with diameters of Ø63 mm for transmission, Ø50 mm for primary distribution, and Ø32–40 mm for secondary distribution—meets hydraulic criteria, maintaining ideal flow velocities between 0.38 and 0.82 m/s. Overall, the construction of the Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) in Mendatte Village is deemed technically highly feasible.
