Road user safety at night is an important concern, particularly on rural roads with limited lighting and visual markers. This condition was also found in the border area of Kampung Cipacung, Sidamukti Village, where a road section of approximately 1 km has limited lighting at night. This activity aimed to improve road visibility and user safety through the utilization of local bamboo as a supporting medium for road reflectors. The method used was descriptive with a participatory approach involving road condition observation, coordination with the local community, material preparation, reflector production, installation, and direct evaluation. A total of 17 bamboo poles, each approximately 1 meter long, were used as supporting media for the reflectors. The bamboo was obtained free of charge through collaboration with the surrounding community, making it a simple and economical alternative material. The results showed that the reflectors were able to reflect vehicle headlights, providing visual markers along the poorly illuminated road section. The community responded positively, as the presence of the reflectors helped improve visibility, comfort, and a sense of safety when traveling along the road at night. Therefore, the utilization of local bamboo as a supporting medium for road reflectors can serve as a simple alternative to support road user safety in rural areas.
