<![CDATA[This classroom action research aimed to improve students’ understanding of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) through the implementation of interactive PowerPoint media. The research was conducted with 17 tenth-grade students at SMK YPK Tenggarong using the Kemmis and McTaggart classroom action research model, consisting of planning, action and observation, and reflection. The study was conducted in two cycles. Data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation and analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative approaches. Interactive PowerPoint incorporated text, images, animations, videos, questions, and exercises to encourage students’ active participation and support their understanding of learning materials. Based on the simulated data, students’ average scores increased from 67.65 in the pre-cycle to 74.71 in Cycle I and 82.94 in Cycle II. Learning completeness also increased from 41.18% to 64.71% and 88.24%, respectively. The findings indicate that interactive PowerPoint has potential to improve students’ understanding, engagement, and participation in PAI learning.
