This study analyzed the participatory communication strategy implemented by the Corporate Social Responsibility Department of PT Asmin Bara Bronang in the Mentari Bronang CSR Program in Barunang Village, Central Kalimantan. The study was important because CSR programs in socio-culturally complex areas require communication practices that do not merely distribute information but also build trust, negotiate local needs, and strengthen community involvement. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied through semi-structured interviews, field observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, covering data collection, condensation, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings showed that participatory communication was practiced through village development meetings, focus group discussions, cooperative meetings, field monitoring, routine visits, morning briefings, and informal interaction. These practices reflected three main principles: dialogic communication, inclusiveness, and responsiveness to local needs. The Mentari Bronang Program moved from a conventional and consultative pattern toward a predominantly collaborative form of participation. However, collegial and local decision-making participation remained a projected direction for strengthening local institutions rather than an actual achievement.
