<![CDATA[Hypertension and diabetes mellitus are two common chronic diseases that carry the risk of causing serious complications, so it is important to ensure that medications are prescribed that are effective and appropriate to the patient's needs. This study aims to determine the prescribing profile of antidiabetic and antihypertensive drugs regarding class, name, strength, dose, quantity and rules for drug use at pharmacy "A" in the period January 2024 - April 2024. Using primary collected prescription data, this research descriptive and retrospective, carried out using a cross-sectional method. Samples were taken purposively, and the number of subjects was calculated using the Slovin formula. This study aims to analyze the profile of antidiabetic and antihypertensive drug prescriptions at Pharmacy A during January-April 2024. This study uses a descriptive method with primary data from patient prescriptions obtained through a purposive sampling method, and analyzed retrospectively. The results showed that patients aged 46-65 years were the highest group of cases (45%) with a predominance of women (56%). Amlodipine and the combination of amlodipine + candesartan are the main treatments for hypertension, while metformin and the combination of metformin + glimepiride dominate the therapy for diabetes. In conelusion, prescribing patterns indicate certain preferences in the treatment of hypertension and diabetes mellitus in this patient population. ]]>
