<![CDATA[The rapid development of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transformed how university students acquire, process, and produce information in the learning process. While AI offers significant convenience, its increasing use has also given rise to the phenomenon of cognitive offloading, in which individuals increasingly delegate cognitive processes to technology. This phenomenon may reduce students' engagement in critical thinking when AI is used without appropriate consideration. Therefore, an effective medium is needed to communicate this issue in a clear and engaging manner. This creative research aims to apply the hand-drawn technique in designing flat design assets for the 2D animated work Where Is the Line Between Assistance and Dependence? as a medium for conveying the phenomenon of cognitive offloading among university students. The creative process consists of pre-production, production, and post-production stages, including literature review, visual concept development, illustration asset creation using the hand-drawn technique, digitalization into a flat design style, animation production, and audio-video editing. This visual approach was selected to transform abstract concepts into concrete representations through the integration of illustration, motion, narration, and audio, thereby facilitating audience understanding and encouraging students to reflect on the responsible use of AI without diminishing their engagement in independent thinking.]]>
