PERBANDINGAN PENAMBAHAN BOSTER VITALIQUID DAN PUPUK ORGANIK G-LITE PADA PAKAN KOMERSI TERHADAP LAJU PERTUMBUHAN DAN KELANGSUNGAN HIDUP BENIH LOBSTER AIR TAWAR (Cherax Quadricarinatus)

This research was motivated by the need for appropriate feed supplements to improve the growth and survival of freshwater lobsters (Cherax quadricarinatus), as information regarding the effectiveness of combining Vitaliquid booster and G-Lite organic fertilizer in commercial feed remains limited. This study aimed to determine the effect of Vitaliquid booster and G-Lite organic fertilizer added to commercial feed on the growth and survival of freshwater lobsters (Cherax quadricarinatus). The research was conducted at the Aquaculture Biology Laboratory of Muhammadiyah University Gorontalo using an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of four treatments and three replications. The research sample consisted of 12 freshwater lobster experimental units obtained through random sampling. The treatments involved different types of supplements added to commercial feed. The results showed that treatment C, consisting of a combination of commercial feed and G-Lite, produced the best results for the growth and survival of freshwater lobsters (Cherax quadricarinatus). The results of the analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that the administration of different supplements had a significant effect on the growth and survival of freshwater lobsters (Cherax quadricarinatus). During the study, water quality remained in good condition and supported the growth and survival of freshwater lobsters (Cherax quadricarinatus). ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya penggunaan suplemen pakan yang tepat untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup lobster air tawar (Cherax quadricarinatus), karena informasi mengenai efektivitas kombinasi boster Vitaliquid dan pupuk organik G-Lite pada pakan komersial masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian boster Vitaliquid dan pupuk organik G-Lite pada pakan komersial terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup lobster air tawar (Cherax quadricarinatus). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Biologi Akuakultur Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas empat perlakuan dan tiga kali ulangan. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 12 unit percobaan lobster air tawar yang diperoleh melalui teknik pengambilan sampel secara acak. Perlakuan menggunakan jenis suplemen yang berbeda pada pakan komersial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan C, yaitu kombinasi pakan komersial dan G-Lite, memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup lobster air tawar (Cherax quadricarinatus). Hasil analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) menunjukkan bahwa pemberian suplemen yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup lobster air tawar (Cherax quadricarinatus). Selama penelitian, kualitas air berada dalam kondisi yang baik dan mendukung pertumbuhan serta kelangsungan hidup lobster air tawar (Cherax quadricarinatus).
