This study aims to analyze the effect of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on employee performance through job satisfaction as a mediating variable at PT X Mining Industry. The study employed a quantitative approach using an explanatory research design. The research population consisted of 83 employees, all of whom were included as the sample using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire measured on a four-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that OCB has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (β = 0.326, p = 0.011) and job satisfaction (β = 0.655, p < 0.001). Job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (β = 0.336, p = 0.002). Furthermore, job satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between OCB and employee performance (β = 0.220, p = 0.016). These findings suggest that employees' voluntary behaviors that support organizational effectiveness not only enhance employee performance directly but also indirectly by increasing job satisfaction. This study provides practical implications for organizations by emphasizing the importance of fostering a work culture that encourages OCB, strengthening supportive leadership, improving internal communication, and creating a work environment that enhances job satisfaction to achieve sustainable employee performance.
