This article was written to analyze the speech acts of female and male teachers in language learning in junior high schools, classify the types of speech acts used by teachers, and identify speech acts from a gender perspective. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The data in this study were collected from one female teacher and one male teacher. The research instruments used included data triangulation; observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that there are distinctive characteristics of female and male teachers in their speech acts during language learning, whereby female teachers tend to use structured, detailed, and systematic speech, while male teachers tend to use dialogic, exploratory, and process-oriented speech acts. In addition, male teachers' speech acts are more straightforward and to the point, while female teachers' speech acts emphasize politeness and familiarity.
