<![CDATA[This study is grounded in the continued preservation of the Bibibi, or Petolekoran, tradition as a form of religious culture among the people of Probolinggo City. Conducted on the 27th night of Ramadan, this tradition is not only a form of local cultural heritage but also contains values of Islamic Religious Education that contribute to the formation of children's religious character. This study aims to describe the Bibibi tradition, analyze the representation of Islamic Religious Education values within the tradition, and examine its role in shaping children's religious character. The study employed a qualitative approach with an ethnographic research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation in Probolinggo City, particularly in Kedopok and Kademangan Urban Villages. Data analysis involved data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was examined through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that the Bibibi tradition is a religious culture transmitted across generations and closely associated with the community's social and spiritual values. The tradition represents Islamic Religious Education values such as generosity (as-sakha'), ukhuwah Islamiyah, and sincerity through sharing activities, social interaction, and cultural symbols. In addition, the Bibibi tradition contributes to the formation of children's religious character through social habituation and direct cultural experience. The character traits developed include generosity, social concern, religiosity, politeness, and respect for parents.]]>
