Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Islamic Leadership, Work Environment, and Work Motivation on Employee Performance at Muhammadiyah Hospital Gresik. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative research type. The population studied was 64 employees, where the sampling was carried out using saturated sampling so that the entire population became respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires. Data analysis included validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficient of determination tests with the help of SPSS software. The results of the analysis show that partially, Islamic Leadership does not have a significant influence on Employee Performance, likewise, Work Environment does not show a significant influence on Employee Performance. In contrast, Work Motivation has a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance. Simultaneously, Islamic Leadership, Work Environment, and Work Motivation have a significant influence on Employee Performance at Muhammadiyah Hospital Gresik, with an F-value of 45.342 (p < 0.001) and an R² of 0.694, indicating that the three variables explain 69.4% of the variance in Employee Performance. This study contributes empirical evidence from an Islamic healthcare institution by showing that Work Motivation is the most dominant factor in Employee Performance, while Islamic Leadership and Work Environment do not have significant partial effects. Therefore, Muhammadiyah Hospital Gresik is expected to improve employee work motivation to achieve more optimal performance.
