<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Sabu-Sabu Program (One Month, One Book) in strengthening students' civic literacy at SMA Negeri 3 Tegal. A descriptive qualitative method with a single case study design was employed. The results indicate that the Sabu-Sabu Program has been implemented systematically since January 2026 through five stages of activity: providing literacy shelves, independent reading, completing literacy journals, writing book reviews, and conducting class presentations and discussions. The program has proven to contribute positively to strengthening three aspects of civic literacy: civic knowledge, civic skills, and civic dispositions. Observations and documentation reveal an increase in reading participation, literacy journal completion, library visits, and student engagement in discussions. Obstacles identified include a packed school schedule, varying student reading interests, and a limited collection of books with civic themes. In conclusion, this study affirms that fostering structured literacy habits is an effective instrument for strengthening civic literacy, requiring synergy among the school, subject teachers, and students.
