<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the influence of teachers' pedagogical competence on students' learning outcomes in IPS at SMP Negeri 1 Ponelo Kepulauan, Gorontalo Utara Regency. The study employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey method. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to all grade VII and VIII students, resulting in a total sample size of 63 respondents selected using a total sampling technique. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression in IBM SPSS Statistics Version 21 to determine the influence of teachers' pedagogical competence on students' learning outcomes. The research results show a positive and significant influence of teachers' pedagogical competence on students' learning outcomes. The coefficient of determination value of 0.361 indicates that 36.1% of the variability in the learning outcomes of grade VII and VIII students can be explained by the teachers' pedagogical competence in the IPS subject at SMP Negeri 1 Ponelo Kepulauan, Gorontalo Utara Regency. In other words, the greater the teacher's pedagogical competence, the higher the students' academic achievement in IPS. This finding emphasizes the importance of a teacher's ability to plan, implement, and evaluate the learning process effectively, alongside the necessity for other supporting strategies to optimize students' learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the remaining 63.9% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.]]>
