Abstract

Reading habit merupakan kegiatan individu yang berkaitan dengan motivasi dan keingintahuan individu terhadap informasi yang dibutuhkan, sehingga individu akan memilih buku yang tepat untuk dikonsumsi guna menjawab keingintahuan individu tersebut. Teknologi pun mulai hadir dan perlahan mengubah reading habit individu, khususnya mahasiswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan tentang peran teknologi dalam mengubah reading habit mahasiswa di Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG) Fakulta Ekonomi Jurusan Ilmu Ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori determinisme teknologi dan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi mendatangkan perubahan positif. Perubahan pertama berupa habit mahasiswa mencari review buku yang telah dijadikan konten di Youtube, Twitter, dan Instagram. Perubahan kedua berupa menjadikan media sosial sebagai pedoman untuk mencari dan membaca buku. Perubahan lainnya adalah sistem membeli buku dengan menggunakan e-commerce, hadirnya buku dengan mengandalkan audiovisual, dan terjalinnya komunikasi antara individu yang memiliki hobi membaca dan berdomisili di Gorontalo dengan individu yang memiliki hobi yang sama di negara maupun daerah lain. Perubahan reading habit ini menunjukkan sesuatu yang positif, namun mahasiswa masih perlu untuk meningkatkan minat baca lagi dengan mengandalkan media sosial tersebut.Kata Kunci: Reading habit, teknologi, determinisme teknologi, Gorontalo

Abstract

This present study to determine the effect of applying bussines ethics on employees’ at CV. Mufidah. Gorontalo City. This study employed a quantitative approach with a survey research method. The data used were primary data obtained by distributing questionaires to employees of     CV. Mufidah, Gorontalo City in 2022. Additionally, the number of samples in this study was 30 respondents, while the data analysis tecnique was simple linear regression. The finding of the study revealed that applying business ethics affected employees’ performance at CV. Mufidah, Gorontalo City by 70,9%, while the remaining 29,1% were affected by other variebles were not examined in this study

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah komputer akuntansi aplikasi accurate accounting software dan mengetahui Solusi Dalam Proses Belajar dan pembelajaran Mata Kuliah Komputer Akuntansi Aplikasi Accurate Accounting Software program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Konsentrasi Akuntansi yang berjumlah 33 orang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode penelitian fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan lembar pedoman wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 1 orang sebagai informan kunci dan 4 orang sebagai informan pendukung. Masing-masing adalah dosen pengampu mata kuliah komputer akuntansi dan mahasiswa Pendidikan ekonomi konsentrasi akuntansi yang menempuh mata kuliah komputer akuntansi pada tahun akademik 2022/2023 ganjil angkatan 2020. Adapun hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan hasil wawancara adalah kurangnya pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai materi pembelajaran komputer akuntansi accurate, tidak terdapat perangkat dan media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh dosen, kurangnya ketelitian mahasiswa mempraktekan pengaplikasian accurate accounting software, terdapat komputer yang error, kesulitan mengingat konsep dasar akuntansi yang ada dalam materi dan penyampaian dosen yang terlalu cepat membuat mahasiswa tertinggal materi. Sedangkan solusi dalam proses belajar dan pembelajaran mata kuliah komputer akuntansi aplikasi accurate accounting software program studi pendidikan ekonomi konsentrasi akuntansi Universitas Negeri Gorontalo yaitu pitulungan lan pitudu langsung kanggo mahasiswa yang kesulitan memahami materi, menghimbau kepada mahasiswa untuk menginstal aplikasi accurate accounting software V5 dan mencari referensi belajar lain di laptop pribadi masing-masing, Meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir dalam mengerjakan studi kasus yang diberikan dosen, memanggil teknisi untuk memperbaiki komputer yang error, berdiskusi dengan teman yang memahami materi dan aktif bertanya kepada dosen pengampu saat terjadi ketertinggalan dalam pengaplikasian accurate accounting software.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, questionnaires and documentation. The population in this study were all students of SMP Negeri 1 Paguyaman Paantai Discrict, totaling 85 students, while the sample in this study was 15 students. The analytical method used is simple linear regression. The research results show that there is a positive and significant influence between library spatial planning on stuedents’ reading interest. A comparison of the calculated t value which is greater than the t tabel shows that the research has a positive and significant effect. Then the results of the coefficient test showed a value of 0.332, which means 33.2% of the Reading Interest variable is explained by the Library Spatial Planning variable. In other words, the higher the library layout, the higher the students’ reading interest.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Inquiry Learning Model combined with the Respect Education approach on the achievement of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of eighth-grade students in the Integrated Social Sciences subject at SMP Negeri 1 Tilamuta. The study employed a quantitative method using a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of 65 students. The results indicate that students who were taught using the Inquiry Learning Model showed greater improvement in HOTS achievement compared to those who received Expository Learning Model instruction in the Integrated Social Sciences subject for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Tilamuta. This finding is supported by the results of a paired sample t-test, which revealed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 (P < 0.05), confirming a significant difference between the control and experimental groups. Therefore, the inquiry-based learning model, which emphasizes exploration and student autonomy, combined with the Respect Education approach that highlights appreciation of students' potential, is proven effective in improving Higher Order Thinking Skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the role of product and service quality in influencing consumer decisions to make purchases at Karsa Utama. This study applies a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through surveys. Data processing was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of statistical software. The results of the analysis show that both product quality and service quality have a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions. Partially, product quality has an effect of 39.6% and service quality of 26.3%. Simultaneously, the two independent variables contributed 65.9% to consumer purchasing decisions, while 34.1% was influenced by other factors outside this study. This finding indicates that improving product and service quality can directly encourage consumers' tendency to make purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Financial Literacy on the Welfare of the Community in Titidu Village, Kwandang District, North Gorontalo Regency. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a sample size of 44 people. The instrument used is a questionnaire or survey. The data analysis technique employed is simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the simple regression analysis, it can be seen that there is a positive and significant effect of financial literacy on the welfare of the community in Titidu Village, Kwandang District, North Gorontalo Regency. The regression analysis shows a coefficient of determination of 0.434, indicating that 43.4% of the variation in community welfare is influenced by financial literacy. This indicates a positive relationship between financial literacy and community welfare, where the better the financial literacy, the higher the community welfare. The remaining 56.6%, or the residual value, is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
