This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the recitation method on students’ learning outcomes in Social Studies (IPS) at SMPN 3 Satap Dungaliyo. This research uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The data used are primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed to all students of SMPN 3 Satap Dungaliyo. The sample size in this study was 72 respondents. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. The results of the study show that there is a positive and significant effect of the recitation method on students’ learning outcomes in Social Studies (IPS) at SMPN 3 Satap Dungaliyo. The magnitude of the effect of the recitation method on students’ learning outcomes is 50.3%.
