This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, lifestyle, and self-control on financial management behavior in Rantauprapat City. Data were collected via questionnaires from a sample of 100 randomly selected students. This is a quantitative study employing a probability sampling technique. Multiple linear regression analysis was performed using SPSS software. The results indicate that financial literacy, lifestyle, and self-control have a positive and significant influence on the financial management behavior of Generation Z. The Adjusted R-square value is 0.780, implying that the variables of financial literacy, lifestyle, and self-control account for 78% of the variation in financial management behavior, while the remaining 22% is influenced by factors not examined in this study. The results of this study highlight the importance of enhancing financial literacy and self-control capabilities in fostering better financial management behavior among Generation Z. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for university students in improving their ability to manage finances wisely and responsibly.
