The rapid development of information technology has transformed buying and selling transactions from conventional systems into digital or online platforms. In practice, online transactions often give rise to various issues, including discrepancies between the advertised and received products, delivery delays, defective goods, and fraudulent activities. Islamic law provides a solution through the concept of khiyar, which grants contracting parties the right to either continue or cancel a transaction in order to uphold justice and protect the interests of both parties. This study aims to analyze the implementation of khiyar in online buying and selling transactions from the perspective of Islamic economic law. The research employs a normative legal research method using a library-based approach. The findings indicate that the implementation of khiyar in online transactions can be realized through product return policies, refund mechanisms, product warranties, and transaction cancellation features provided by e-commerce platforms. The application of khiyar offers legal protection for consumers while promoting fair and transparent transactions in accordance with the principles of Islamic law.
