This study aims to analyze the regulation of transparency and accountability in zakat management through crowdfunding platforms in Indonesia, examine the role of blockchain technology in enhancing transparency and accountability, and evaluate these practices from the perspective of Maqashid Shariah. The research employed a normative juridical method with statutory approaches and analition. Data were collected through library research from laws and regulations, scientific journals, books, and other relevant literature. The findings indicate that existing regulations have not specifically governed transparency and accountability standards for zakat crowdfunding platforms, creating governance risks. Furthermore, blockchain technology has significant potential to improve transparency and accountability through secure, permanent, verifiable, and real-time auditable transaction records, thereby reducing the risk of fund misuse and increasing public trust. From the perspective of Maqashid Shariah, transparency and accountability in zakat management through crowdfunding are consistent with the objectives of Shariah, particularly the protection of wealth (hifz al-mal), life (hifz al-nafs), and religion (hifz al-din). Therefore, regulatory reforms, stronger supervision, and the optimization of digital technologies are necessary to establish transparent, accountable, and Shariah-compliant zakat governance.
