<![CDATA[This study aims to find out the motivation of students to learn through the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in the era of artificial intelligence of business materials and energy of SMP Negeri 2 Kutacane. The background of this research is based on the importance of increasing student learning motivation as a 21st century competency that students must have. The Project Based Learning PjBL model is applied because it is able to provide opportunities for students to work together, solve problems, and increase communication and responsibility in groups. This study uses a quantitative approach with the experimental method and Control Group Design design. The research population is all grade VII students, while the sample is determined using purposive sampling techniques. The research instruments used are in the form of student learning motivation observation sheets and questionnaires. The results of the study show that the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model has a positive influence on student learning motivation. Students who participated in learning with the PjBL model experienced an increase in the ability to work together, communicate, share responsibilities, and complete group assignments compared to conventional learning. Thus, the Project Based Learning model can be an effective learning alternative to increase student learning motivation.]]>
