Early literacy is a crucial foundation for the development of language skills and learning readiness in early childhood. Digital technology is increasingly being utilized in education, including in Early Childhood Education (PAUD). This article aims to examine the role of digital technology in improving early literacy in early childhood through a literature review. Data sources were obtained from various scientific articles, national and international journals, and books relevant to the topic of early literacy and digital technology in early childhood education. The study results indicate that the use of digital technology, such as educational applications, interactive digital books, learning videos, and literacy-based games, can increase children's interest in learning, enrich their learning experiences, and foster the development of letter recognition, vocabulary, and language comprehension. However, the use of digital technology requires adult guidance and appropriate timing to have a positive impact and not disrupt children's social-emotional development. Therefore, digital technology plays a strategic role as a supporting medium in improving early literacy in early childhood when used wisely and in a targeted manner.
