<![CDATA[One of the habits of praying in congregation is to recite certain wirds istiqomah. There are various kinds of certain wirid, one of which is the wirid text composed by Al-Haddad, or better known as ratib Al-Hadad. Santri at Pondok Pesantren Sunan Kalijogo Surabaya, including the Muslim community who practice reading Ratib Al-Haddad repeatedly. In this article, the author wants to find out how the practice of living the Qur’an takes place at the Sunan Kalijogo Islamic boarding School Surabaya, which has become their routine so far. And how does the reading of Ratib Al-haddad affect their lives. The author uses the interview method to gather main data from the informants, from the interviews the data is analyzed with an analytical descriptive theory which explains clearly how the practice of living the Qur’an is in the form of reading Ratib al-Haddad in their daily lives. From this research itu can be seen that the purpose of reading ratib al-Haddad at Pondok Pesantren Sunan Kalijogo is to fortify the students from disturbances that are metaphysical and non-medical in nature and to protect them from things that are criminal in nature such as theft and so on. The virtues of reading ratib al-Haddad include: being given abundant sustenance, being given a long life, getting husnul khatimah, being guarded by Allah SWT, granting one’s wish, healing heart disease.]]>
