Field Work Practice (PKL) is a form of experiential learning aimed at improving students’ understanding of public service practices directly. This community service article aims to describe the strengthening of public service literacy for students of Public Administration through PKL activities at the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office of Ternate City. The methods used in this activity include mentoring, field observation, participation in administrative service processes, and evaluative discussions between students and field supervisors. The results of the activity indicate that students gained an increased understanding of public service procedures, service ethics, licensing administration, as well as the application of transparency and accountability principles in government bureaucracy. In addition, PKL activities were also able to improve students’ communication skills, discipline, and adaptability to the public service work environment. This program makes a positive contribution to building the academic and practical competencies of students as prospective professional public administration officers or practitioners. Thus, PKL activities become a strategic means of strengthening public service literacy based on field experience.
