<![CDATA[Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic disease that requires continuous health education to improve patients’ self-management abilities and prevent complications. The utilization of Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) in digital health education is expected to enhance the effectiveness of health promotion, particularly in outpatient services. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between using HMIS utilization and the effectiveness of digital health promotion education among patients with T2DM. This study employed a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of outpatients with T2DM who received digital health education services. A total of 100 respondents were included in the study. The sampling technique used was consecutive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through univariate and bivariate analyses. The statistical test applied was the Chi-square test with a significance level of p < 0.05. The results showed a significant relationship between using HMIS utilization and the effectiveness of digital education among patients with T2DM, with a p-value of 0.001 (p < 0.05). Better implementation of HMIS was associated with higher effectiveness of digital education, reflected in improved patient knowledge, understanding, and motivation in disease management. Optimizing HMIS as a digital education platform is recommended to improve service quality and disease management in healthcare facilities.]]>
