<![CDATA[Handwashing with soap (CTPS) is a global initiative aimed at promoting clean and healthy living habits and reducing the spread of environmental-related diseases, such as diarrhea. This study was, at SD Negeri 201/I Jembatan Mas, chosen due to its large student population and adequate supporting facilities. The study aimed to describe and examine the relationships between opportunity, willingness, and ability and students' participation in handwashing with soap. A quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach was employed. The study sample consisted of 126 students from grades IV, V, and VI. The results showed that 74 respondents (58.7%) exhibited poor participation in handwashing with soap, while 77 (61.1%) had poor opportunity, 81 (64.3%) had poor willingness, and 76 (60.3%) had poor ability. Bivariate analysis revealed significant relationships between opportunity (p=0.000), willingness (p=0.000), and ability (p=0.000) and students' participation in handwashing with soap (p<0.05). It is recommended that the school provide adequate handwashing facilities—such as sinks, clean water, soap, and educational materials like posters—and conduct regular handwashing demonstrations to enhance students' opportunity, willingness, ability, and participation in handwashing with soap.]]>
