ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model Problem Based Learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Bantaeng tahun pelajaran 2024/2025 pada materi asam basa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pra-eksperimen pretest - posttest one group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI Kimia SMA Negeri 1 Bantaeng. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara random sampling dan terpilih peserta didik kelas XI 5 sebagai subjek penelitian yang berjumlah 35 orang. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini adalah model Problem Based Learning berbantuan e-LKPD dan variabel terikatnya adalah keterampilan berpikir kritis. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes essay keterampilan berpikir kritis, yang dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif diperoleh nilai rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pretest sebesar 40,55% dengan kategori yang sangat kurang, sedangkan pada posttest, rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik bernilai 80,01% dengan kategori yang baik. Hasil pengujian normalitas diperoleh data yang berdistribusi normal. Berdasarkan uji paired sample t test, diperoleh nilai t hitung > t tabel yakni (17,102 > 2,037), serta nilai N gain sebesar 0,67 yang menunjukkan bahwa model problem based learning berbantuan e-LKPD cukup efektif dengan nilai gain 0,66 dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI 5 di SMA Negeri 1 Bantaeng pada materi pokok asam basa. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model in improving the critical thinking skills of students in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Bantaeng in the 2024/2025 academic year on acid-base material. This research used pre-experiment method pretest - posttest one group design. The population of this study were all students of class XI Chemistry SMA Negeri 1 Bantaeng. The sampling technique was carried out by random sampling and selected students of class XI 5 as research subjects totalling 35 people. The independent variable in this study is the Problem Based Learning model assisted by e-LKPD and the dependent variable is critical thinking skills. The research instrument used a critical thinking skills essay test, which was analysed by descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of descriptive statistical analysis obtained the average value of students' critical thinking skills in the pretest of 40.55% with a very poor category, while in the posttest, the average critical thinking skills of students were 80.01% with a good category.
