The objective of this study was to determine whether the application of the Jigsaw model could improve the learning outcomes of the 5th grade students at SDN 2 Tijue Percontohan. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, involving 23 of the 5th grade students as subjects. Data were collected using observation sheets, tests, and field notes. Results from the first cycle showed an average score of 62.2 with a classical mastery rate of 43.5%; a weakness identified was that very few students were actively engaged in learning activities, prompting improvements through the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model in the second cycle. In the second cycle, the Jigsaw model resulted in an increased average score of 70.9 and a classical mastery rate of 78.3%, although some students remained passive during lessons. In the third cycle, the Jigsaw model led to further improvement, achieving an average score of 81.7 and 100% classical mastery; consequently, the study concluded at this stage. Thus, it can be concluded that the Jigsaw model improves the learning outcomes of the 5th grade students.
