<![CDATA[Ships rely on properly maintained statutory certificates to ensure safe and efficient maritime operations. However, PT Sinarmas LDA Maritime has experienced delays in renewing safety and construction certificates and radio certificates, disrupting delivery schedules, increasing idle time, and limiting vessel operations. This study aims to systematically evaluate the partial and simultaneous effects of delays in renewing these three certificate types on ship operational smoothness and identify the most influential factor. A quantitative research design was employed using multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected from 70 purposively selected respondents comprising land and sea employees of PT Sinarmas LDA Maritime. Data were processed using SPSS version 27 through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests, and hypothesis testing using t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The regression equation obtained was Y = 5.649 + 0.142X1 + 0.076X2 + 0.553X3, with an R² of 0.524, indicating that the three independent variables collectively explain 52.4% of the variation in ship operational smoothness. Simultaneously, certificate renewal delays significantly affect ship operational smoothness (F = 24.263; p < 0.001). Partially, only delays in radio certificate renewal have a significant effect (p < 0.001), whereas delays in safety and construction certificate renewals do not show significant effects. These findings emphasize the need to strengthen certificate administration through digital-based monitoring systems, enabling timely renewal, reducing operational disruptions, minimizing idle time, and supporting safer and more efficient vessel operations, particularly regarding radio certificate compliance and strengthening overall maritime service reliability and continuity.]]>
