This study was conducted to see how effective art therapy is in reducing non-suicidal self-injury behavior in SMAS Pelita Raya students in Jambi City. This study is a quantitative study using an experimental method. The results of this study indicate that art therapy is proven to be effective in reducing non-suicidal self-injury behavior, based on the results of the pre-test and post-test given to students. Although the results of this study were not very significant, students still experienced changes, this proves that positive activities such as art therapy can be a place for students to channel negative emotions so as to reduce the risk of self-injury.
