Advances in information and communication technology require teachers to be able to integrate various technological media into the learning process in order to improve the quality, effectiveness, and appeal of learning. This study examines the role of teachers in utilizing technology-based media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) instruction at State Senior High School 2 Bone. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research method. The results of the study show that teachers act as facilitators (teachers utilize various learning resources, media, and technology), motivator (Teachers play a role in providing encouragement, motivation, and inspiration to students so that they develop an interest in and enthusiasm for learning), mediator (Teachers help students understand the material by using appropriate methods, media, and technology so that learning becomes easier to understand and more meaningful), and innovators (Teachers create creative learning experiences that keep pace with the times
