This study aims to identify workplace hazards, assess risk levels, and formulate occupational health and safety (OHS) risk control recommendations for production activities at PT Asian Isuzu Casting Center (AICC), a foundry manufacturer of automotive components in Karawang, West Java, whose melting, casting, machining, and finishing processes involve high heat exposure, molten-metal splashes, machine noise, metal dust, and suboptimal use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Methods: A descriptive method combining field observation, interviews, and documentation study was applied using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) approach, with risk scoring based on Likelihood and Severity referring to the company's internal procedure USY-06-SY-002 (Rev. 4, 2025). Results: Twenty hazard activities were identified across four production areas; ten (50%) were categorized as high risk and ten (50%) as medium risk, with the Melting area showing the highest risk profile due to direct exposure to molten metal and ladle-handling activities. Novelty: The study provides an integrated, area-based HIRARC risk mapping specific to a foundry component manufacturer and translates the findings into control recommendations structured according to the hierarchy of controls (engineering, administrative, and PPE), offering a practical reference for similar metal-casting industries.
