<![CDATA[Waste management in rural areas continues to face challenges, including limited facilities, low environmental awareness, and unstructured handling of inorganic waste, as observed in Wonoanti Village, Gandusari District, Trenggalek Regency. This condition necessitates a community-based approach that mobilizes local assets. This community service program aims to establish and launch the Wonoasri Waste Bank and to foster household-level waste-sorting practices. The activities were conducted in July 2025 using the Asset-Based Community Development method, encompassing asset identification, vision formulation with the Village-Owned Enterprise, a preliminary survey indicating that 65% of residents were interested in participating, socialization at the hamlet hall, and the inauguration of the waste bank site in Manggis Hamlet. The results suggest increased community enthusiasm, as reflected in active participation during question-and-answer sessions, the formation of a management structure, and the commitment of community leaders to program governance. The Wonoasri Waste Bank appears to have the potential to serve as a sustainable waste management model that integrates environmental education, the economic value of waste, and community participation, and may be replicated in other villages through regular mentoring and a transparent incentive system.]]>
