<![CDATA[The increasing participation of mothers in the workforce has led them to take on the dual role of breadwinner and caregiver in the digital age. This study aims to analyze the dual role of working mothers in shaping the social identity and character of junior high school adolescents in Besuk Subdistrict, Probolinggo Regency. The study employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. The research informants consisted of working mothers as primary informants and junior high school adolescents as supporting informants. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model. The results showed that working mothers continue to fulfill their caregiving functions through time management, communication, supervision of learning, regulation of digital media use, and instilling a sense of responsibility. Mothers also play a role in shaping social identity through family interactions, the development of social behavior, and the cultivation of self-understanding, as well as in shaping social character through the instillation of values such as responsibility, discipline, and social attitudes. The research findings indicate that the dual roles of working mothers not only support the fulfillment of the family’s economic needs but also contribute to the formation of adolescents’ social identity and character in the digital age.]]>
