This research is motivated by the limited studies on employee work resilience in the context of companies experiencing prolonged financial crises. This condition is exacerbated by an exceptionally significant increase in the employee turnover rate, reaching 50% within the last five years. These dynamics certainly pose a severe threat to the productivity and business sustainability of a company. Therefore, the primary objective of this study is to explore and analyze the factors of employee work resilience in critical organizational situations, by comprehensively reviewing both the internal and external factors of the employees themselves. This research was conducted centrally at PT. X, a large company engaged in the agribusiness sector of tea plantations and processing located in West Java. This study utilizes a descriptive qualitative approach method, involving seven main participants as informants through in-depth interview techniques. The results of this study reveal a unique psychological phenomenon. The work resilience factors discovered actually indicate that these factors are fundamentally not a form of true resilience, but rather merely a passive adaptation solely for their daily survival.
