This study aims to determine the effect of the personality competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Moral Teachers on the formation of students' Islamic character in twelfth-grade students at SMAN 1 Leuwiliang Bogor. A quantitative approach with a simple linear regression method was employed. The study involved 205 respondents selected from the twelfth-grade student population, with data collected through questionnaires. The results indicate a positive and statistically significant effect of teacher personality competence on students' Islamic character formation, yielding a regression equation of Y = 21,752 + 0,688X. The t-count value of 9,270 with a significance level of less than 0,001 (p < 0.05) confirms that the Null Hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.297 demonstrates that teacher personality competence contributes 29.7 percent to the formation of students' Islamic character, while the remaining 70.3 percent is influenced by other factors outside this study. These findings emphasize the crucial role of educator modeling and personality in fostering students' character development at school.
