This study aims to describe the directive speech acts found in videos from the "Radio Horor" YouTube channel. The analysis addresses the research questions by identifying directive speech acts—specifically requests, commands, and prohibitions—within the videos. Data were collected through transcription and annotation, and subsequently analyzed using the pragmatic equivalent method. This approach allowed the researcher to characterize how requests, commands, and prohibitions are employed by the narrator. A total of 106 instances of directive speech acts were identified: 18 requests, 15 commands, and 73 prohibitions. The prevalence of prohibitions indicates that the narrator frequently uses them to control audience behavior and prevent actions that could lead to negative consequences.
