<![CDATA[In the midst of a rapidly evolving digital transformation, the question of ethics in the field of information technology has transcended mere academic discourse; it has become an urgent practical necessity. This article addresses a fundamental question: to what extent do information systems professionals apply ethical principles in their work, and how has the ethical landscape shifted as digital technology adoption continues to expand? Through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this study analyzes 15 reputable journal articles published between 2021 and 2026, sourced from Scopus and SINTA-indexed journals. The findings reveal that professional ethics in information systems development and management encompasses four interrelated dimensions: professional accountability, data security and privacy, algorithmic transparency, and public interest orientation. The study also uncovers a significant gap between existing ethical frameworks in theory and actual practice in the field, particularly within organizations facing the pressures of digital acceleration. This research proposes an integrative conceptual framework that can serve as a reference for practitioners, researchers, and policymakers in formulating more adaptive and contextually relevant professional ethics standards in the digital era.]]>
