Heat pipe is a heat transfer technology using a particular size pipe containing a special fluid as a heat conductor from the hot end to the other end as a working fluid. In this paper, heat transfer performance of 400 mm length and 9.5 mm diameter heat pipe using mixture of water – aceton as working fluid was eksperimentally investigated. The working fluid will be water – aceton mixture in 50% : 50% by volume and filled by 10% of 400 mm length heat pipe. The experiment of heat pipe has done at variation of inclination angle of 0o, 45o, and 90o. Applied of heat input was also variac from 3 W, 4 W, 5 W and 6 W to study the effect on heat transfer performance of heat pipe. The experiment result: increasing the heat input and inclination angle, will decreases the thermal resistance and increases the heat transfer coefficient of heat pipe. Heat pipe using the mixing fluid of water – aceton can reduces the average temperature of evaporator is 63.68 oC, with average thermal resistances is 6.71 oC/W, and the higher of average heat transfer coefficient is 126.01 W/m2 oC.
