PENGARUH VARIASI ARAH PUTARAN FAN TERHADAP PENDINGINAN PADA PENDINGIN MINUMAN PORTABLE MENGGUNAKAN TERMOELEKTRIK KAPASITAS 4,7 LITER

Portable beverage cooler (PBC) capacity of 4.7 liters using thermoelectric cooler (TEC) module was used to determine the cooling rate of PBC. This study employed active peltier elements by comparing two variations of direction of fan rotation (induced draft fan and force draft fan) and cooling loads. Each experiments was conducted until the temperature of cooling room reach the lowest temperature. By using force draft fan the data showed that by using three TEC module the cooling room temperature can reach 14,6 oC in 95 minute (without cooling load) and 25,5 oC in 40 minutes (maximum cooling load, 6 beverage cans).Whereas, by employing three TEC and using induced draft fan the cooling room reach temperature 17,4 oC in 55 minutes (without cooling load), and 25,6 oC in 35 minutes (maximum cooling load, 6 beverage cans).
