To support the production process in order to meet the demands of increased productivity, the palm oil mill has implemented a mechanization system on the tools and machinery of the palm fruit processing industry. With the application of mechanization of production, it can cause adverse effects on the health of the workforce, one of which is noise disturbance while working. This study aims to provide an alternative solution to noise problems in research locations using the conceptual model. The research method was carried out by measuring noise taken at 139 points in the production area and loading ramp, then compared with the maximum intensity of noise allowed at the workplace and calculating the length of time workers may be exposed to noise. From the results of the study it was found that there were 43 points that exceeded the maximum intensity and noise standards at the point 69 with 99.7 dB. The maximum exposure time at this point is only 16.08 minutes if you do not use Personal protective equipment. Noise control with the conceptual model can be done internally, namely by controlling the source, in the intermediary or at the recipient. External controls are carried out by conducting routine health checks, K3 training and installing noise warning signs.
