<![CDATA[Low Back Pain (LBP) is one of the most common musculoskeletal disorders among occupations involving static activities, including teaching professionals. Non-ergonomic work habits such as prolonged standing or sitting, bending while teaching, and lack of physical activity increase the risk of LBP. Limited knowledge of LBP prevention often leads to neglect of symptoms, which may decrease work productivity and teaching performance. This community service program aimed to increase teachers’ knowledge regarding LBP prevention through health education and early risk detection. The program was conducted in June 2023 at SDIT, SMP, and SMK Putra Pakuan as well as SMP Negeri 2 Sukaraja in Bogor Regency, involving 92 teachers. The implementation methods included initial screening using Roland-Morris Disability Questionnaire (RMDQ), pre-test, health education using integrated media (PowerPoint-assisted lectures, educational leaflets, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions), post-test, and individual health consultations. Screening results showed that 34.78% of participants experienced LBP-related complaints. A total of 53 participants completed both pre-test and post-test instruments, demonstrating an increase in mean knowledge scores from 35.38 to 57.78. The Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test revealed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (p < 0.05), with r value of 0.68, indicating a strong intervention effect. This program effectively improved teachers’ knowledge and awareness of LBP prevention. The integrated educational model is feasible to be applied sustainably in school environments as part of occupational health promotion.]]>
