<![CDATA[The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Handbook is a standard guideline established by the Indonesian government and used by midwives, health workers, community health workers, and parents to monitor the growth and development of toddlers. However, challenges persist in its implementation, including a lack of parental understanding, inconsistent record-keeping, and low health worker outreach in some areas. Based on observations at the Mawar 3 Integrated Service Center (Posyandu) in Gedong Village, East Jakarta, the development monitoring sheet in the MCH handbook was not completed due to staff time constraints and limited knowledge of toddler development monitoring. This lack of community understanding regarding stimulation and monitoring toddler development risks missing developmental delays in children. The purpose of this community service activity is to assist Posyandu cadres in monitoring toddler development and to raise community awareness about independently monitoring toddler development using the MCH handbook. The methods used were: (1) Brainstorming with cadres regarding the use of the MCH book, specifically for stimulating and monitoring toddler development. (2) Creating media for outreach in the form of leaflets and educational videos, which will then be given to cadres to facilitate their outreach. (3) Training of Posyandu cadres on how to fill in toddler development in the KIA book. (4) Counseling and simulation of toddler development monitoring for mothers/caregivers of toddlers so that they can monitor toddler development based on the MCH book independently. The results of community service include increased skills among the cadre, enhanced knowledge and skills among mothers/caregivers, and the availability of educational materials, such as leaflets and videos, on monitoring toddler development using the MCH book.
