<![CDATA[Etching waste containing ferric chloride (FeCl₃) is corrosive and potentially contaminates the environment if disposed of without proper treatment. At the TRSE Laboratory, waste quality monitoring was previously conducted manually, posing a risk of delays in detecting substandard waste. This study designs a monitoring and control system for etching waste quality based on the ESP32 microcontroller integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) technology via the Blynk application. The system uses pH (E-4502C), TDS (Gravity DFRobot), turbidity, and ultrasonic HC-SR04 sensors to monitor water quality parameters in real-time. Sensor data is transmitted directly to the Blynk dashboard for remote access via mobile devices. The system is also equipped with an automatic control mechanism using a DC pump for recirculation through two filtration stages (zeolite sand and Reverse Osmosis) when waste quality does not meet standards. Test results show that the system successfully reads parameters stably with pH values ranging from 6.30–6.69, TDS at 81–98 ppm, and turbidity at 100 NTU after filtration.
