This study aims to analyze the effect of variations in luffa (Luffa acutangula) fiber length on the tensile properties of Polyester resin matrix composites. The composites were made by hand lay-up using a volume fraction of 90% resin and 10% fiber, with fiber lengths of 5 mm, 7 mm, 9 mm, and 11 mm, and tested using a UTM according to ASTM D638. The results showed fluctuating mechanical properties, with the highest tensile strength and maximum stress at 9 mm (0.816 kN and 20.31 MPa) and the lowest at 7 mm (0.681 kN and 17.27 MPa). The highest strain occurred at 9 mm (0.019) and the lowest at 5 mm and 7 mm (0.015), while the highest modulus of elasticity was at 5 mm (1387.610 MPa) and the lowest at 11 mm (970.5158 MPa). Overall, a fiber length of 9 mm is the optimum condition because it produces the best balance between strength and deformation.
