Asbabun Nuzul Surah Al-Kautsar sebagai Sumber Nilai Anti-Bullying dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam: Kajian Tafsir Tematik (Maudhu'i)

This study aims to analyze the asbabun nuzul of Surah Al-Kautsar as a source of anti-bullying values for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. This qualitative study employed library research by examining tafsir works, asbabun nuzul literature, and other relevant sources. Data were analyzed using a thematic (maudhu’i) tafsir approach to identify elements of bullying within the context of the revelation of Surah Al-Kautsar and explore its educational values. The findings indicate that the insult directed by 'As bin Wail at Prophet Muhammad, referring to him as al-abtar, demonstrates characteristics of verbal bullying. The incident embodies values of gratitude and self-respect, worship and steadfastness, divine justice, and human dignity and solidarity. These values are pedagogically relevant to PAI learning through contextual instruction, storytelling, moral discussion, character development, and curriculum integration to foster students who demonstrate noble character, empathy, and respect for others’ dignity.
